On January 30 and 31, 2016 a Softball Coaches Clinic will be held during the annual ISG/DBV Convention 2016 at the Ahorn-Sportpark in Paderborn, Germany. In cooperation with the European Softball Federation (ESF), the German Baseball and Softball Federation (DBV) and the International Sports Group (ISG) a strong lineup of speakers will be on hand during the clinic.

Longtime Dutch women’s fastpitch national team member Lindsey Meadows-Oosterveld will travel to Paderborn to talk about pitching mechanics and movement of pitches. Dutch men’s softball national team's head coach Ben ten Pas and Israel’s Corey Vyner from Canada will speak strategies in offense and defense, as well as hitting and the identification and correction of bad habits. Additionally all participants will get insights into mental training by Matt Morse of Brian Cain Peak Performance, into hitting by Steve Englishbey and into beeball by Ivan Rodriguez.

The softball clinic is a part of the annual ISG/DBV Convention, which also includes a baseball coaches clinic, scorers' courses and umpire training.

For the first time the softball clinic will be organized with the support of the ESF. It starts on Saturday, January 30 at 9am (until 6.30pm) and will continue through Sunday, January 31 untill 4pm.
