This clinic was leaded by very experienced past umpires and current ESF UIC’s Carolien Standhouders and Bert Loggen. Sporthotel Radotin was the center of all activities. Participants studied theory first two days in classroom including exercises of positioning at the field next by. One of the tournaments of Extradivision of Czech Competition Girls U22 was prepared for real practice on the field for Saturday and Sunday. In total 13 teams from all Czech including one Polish team were played at Radotin and Eagles Park. So the group of umpires was divided into two sections to cover those games. The tournament offered to umpires almost everything, what can bring the softball on the field.

Sunday evening brought the time for evaluation. “We have 12 new ESF umpires, some qualifying closely, some very good, some average,” said Carolien.
