Since the first edition in 1993, the 14th Men’s European Championship will be played in Havlíčkův Brod (CZE) from the 25th until the 30th of June.

This year’s Championship will be played with 12 teams (which is a record), divided into two different groups. Team Lithuania will join this Championship as a total newcomer. It’s great to see them in an official tournament after their participation at the Baltic Open in 2016. Also, Slovakia is back again since their last Men’s Championship in 2010.

With the Czech Republic taking the European title an amazing nine out of fourteen times and ending up in the top three all the editions, we're excited to see if they are able to keep the title on their name. Denmark, the Netherlands, and GB are expected to be traditionally tough competitors for the Czechs. And will the surprise of the last Championship - Belgium - keep up to the standard they have set in 2016?

Will the Israeli prove their team-strenth again not relying on individuals? We shouldn't forget about Germany, who has shown huge improvements in their men's fastpitch program over the past few years. Croatia was unlucky the last time not making it to the playoffs, they will want to make sure that their destiny would be different this time.

Italy and Sweden are coming back after they debuted in 2016, we can't wait for their performance on the field.

With all of that being said, the top three teams will qualify themselves for the Men's World Championship in Prague next year, which will make it even more exciting to end up in this year's top three.
