On June 24, Softball Europe and Little League Europe expressed their willingness to organize a U-15 Women's Cup following the cancelation of the U15 Women’s Championship 2020. The main intention behind this event was the one to offer young athletes the possibility to compete internationally, keep and develop motivation.

Softball Europe did not reach the minimum number of 4 teams taking part in the tournament, and, for this reason, is forced to cancel the Cup. "Some teams had to give up on taking part due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in their countries, and the restrictions made by their government" Softball Europe President Gabriel Waage comments.

Despite this, Softball Europe is still working on the only event of the season that is still on: the European Masters Cup at the end of October.

The second edition of the European Masters Cup should have been held in Barcelona, Spain. Because of the uncertain situation in its country, the RFEBS - the baseball and softball Spanish Federation renounced to organize the event. For this reason, Softball Europe found an agreement with Princ Softball Club to host the event in Zagreb, Croatia.

Softball Europe is constantly monitoring the European health situation to ensure the safety of the event and will communicate as soon as possible the news related to it.
