The 2020 European Masters Cup is canceled
To keep the Softball Europe community safe, Softball Europe board members decided to cancel the second edition of the European Masters Cup, scheduled for the end of October in Zagreb, Croatia.
"Some of the European countries are facing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic." President Gabriel Waage said. "My first thought goes out to all of our softball community, which I hope it is and will be safe."
This decision has been made necessary since Croatia is a red zone for many European Countries, and a 14-day quarantine is often required.
Europe and the World are witnessing a unique situation in history, and for the first time, the entire European Softball season had to be canceled, in the name of public health.
The first event of the 2021 season is the U-12 Mix Qualifier scheduled for April/May.
