The 2021 softball season started in Hungary this past weekend. 

March 27, 2021, set the playball for the four teams in the first division of the Hungarian Softball League. Óbuda-Rascals faced the 2020 National Champions Budapest Red Wolves and Érd Wildcats played against the Röntgen Kanizsa Ants.

The Budapest Red Wolves and the Érd Wildcats won the two double-headers of the weekend and are now at the top of the leaderboard.
The next games are scheduled for April 17, 2021.
