The Azzurre will fly to Florida, USA, in preparation for the Women's European Championship and the Olympic Games.

The Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS) announced today that its National Team will fly to the USA to continue its training, after the camps in Pescara and Friuli Venezia-Giulia. Italia Team will train at the Jackie Robinson Complex and Fort Myers, Florida, from April 13 to 29.

Coach Pizzolini will lead the Azzurre in eight friendly matches against the United States and Canada, two of the opponents to be faced in Tokyo.

Nineteen athletes will wear the Italian jersey in Florida:
Abacherli Brittany, Brandi Priscilla, Cacciamani Ilaria, Carosone Emily, Cecchetti Greta, Fama Amanda, Filler Andrea, Gasparotto Marta, Grifagno Elisa, Howard Andrea, Lacatena Alexia, Longhi Giulia, Marrone Fabrizia, Nicolini Alice, Piancastelli Erika, Ricchi Beatrice, Sheldon Melany, Torre Silvia and Vigna Laura.
