The softball season in the Czech Republic will start this Saturday.

The playball for the Czech softball season will be this weekend for the Men's 'Extraliga' and next weekend for the Women's 'Extraliga'. The Czech Government's restrictions have not allowed amateur athletes to play games until this weekend.

The Czech Men's Softball Leaugue will start on May 29th and, in 2021, it counts eleven participants, the highest number in Czech softball history. The round-robin in Men's Extralague will last until mid-August. Afterward, the super round will be played until the end of September and then the play-offs will take place throughout October

The Women's Extraleague will begin a week later on June 5th. Eight teams will battle to win the 2021 Czech Champion Title: the 2020 Champion Joudrs Praha, Žraloci Ledenice, Eagles Praha, Snails Kunovice, Storms Řepy, Tempo Praha, Arrows Ostrava, and Trutnov HSM.

The regular season in Women's Extraleague will last until September 5th and the Czech Champion will be declared after the play-offs in mid-October.
