The Men's Baseball and Women's Softball Super6 scheduled for September 2022 has been cancelled due to the withdrawals of the awarded organisers.

WBSC Europe can confirm that the Men's Baseball and Women's Softball Super6 scheduled from September 5 to 10, 2022, have been cancelled following the host's withdrawal to organise the event.

Adding to the lack of venues, some of the six National Teams could also not take part in the event because of a clash with their National Federation's calendar.

The Super6 was first staged in 2018, in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, in the late September of 2018. The Dutch took the Men's Baseball trophy, while the Czech won the Women's Softball gold medal.

The next Super6 will take place in 2024. The top6 ranked at the 2023 Men's Baseball European Championship and at the 2022 Women's Softball European Championship will be invited to participate in the 2024 edition.
