Last Saturday, 28th February 2015, the Austrian Baseball Federation elected a new board.

Mr. Michael Schmidt, who has overseen Softball operations in Austria for the last 12 years, has stepped down as board member of the Austrian Baseball Federation as he will concentrate and focus on the growth of international Baseball and Softball. The Austrian Baseball Federation wants to thank Mr. Schmidt for his work and effort he has put into developing Softball in Austria the last couple of years and wishes him all the best for his future work as WBSC Baseball Division's Executive Director as he will concentrate and focus on the growth of international Baseball and Softball. He will always stay a valuable part of Baseball and Softball in Austria.

Vice President Baseball - Mr. Christoph WIESER

Vice President Softball - Mr. Gabriele HARDINGER

Vic President Youth Program - Mr. Peter FERAK

Vice President Finances - Mr. Rainer L. KRANKL

Mr. Smajo PASALIC stays as Secretary General of the Austrian Baseball Federation.
