The first round of the 2016 photo contest - PhotoFEST Behind the Curtains - took place in October. 

62 photos showing a coach, a manager, an umpire or an official were submitted and uploaded on the ESF Facebook page.

Three winners were announced and will receive a set of ESF merchandise.

European Baseball Magazine featured a story about the contest and brought some background information about the winners. EBM is a mobile app magazine to be downloaded for free.

1st place: Boris Mutafchiev (over 1100 likes)


2nd place: Dominika Měšťanová (photo by Jan Beneš) (969 likes)


3rd place: Giacomo Canali (274 likes)

Youri Alkalay, Vice President for Marketing, was very happy with the amount of photos received: "Photographers contribution is a very important part of achieving the goals connected with the spread of our beautiful sport around Europe."
