Softball Europe and Little League organize a U15 Women’s Cup
Following the cancelation of the U15 Women’s Championship 2020 at the end of May, Softball Europe proudly announces to provide an alternative initiative for the young athletes. WBSC Softball Europe has agreed along with Little League Europe to use the Little League facilities in Kutno, Poland to organize a U15 Women’s Cup.
Softball Europe President Gabriel Waage comments the initiative: “I would like to thank LL Europe for this cooperation opportunity and excellent financial offer, which should be achievable for all. Our main intention is to offer young athletes to compete internationally, keep and develop motivation.”
The Cup will be held on the original dates of the U15 WECh, only a little shorter. It will be a four-day tournament between August 27 – 30, 2020.
The tournament is addressed to the U15 Women’s teams, who will not be able to play the European Championship this year and any other team: the Cup is open for any U15 women’s teams with no restrictions.
The number of the participating team is six (6), with no Entry Fee. Every team must bring one umpire. Balls and other services will be provided by WBSC Softball Europe and Little League Europe.
Registration of participants (name of the tame, contact person) should be sent to the WBSC Softball Europe Communications Director Elda Ghilardi by email at eghilardi@wbsceurope.org no later than July 27. The rule is first come first serve.
